The Treatment Procedure
You will have a consultation to see what your expectations are and all aspects of the anti-wrinkle injections are explained in fully at your consultation, so you have a clear understanding and how it works.
We will apply the numbing cream and start the treatment. These injections relax specific muscles to stop the skin from creasing and are an ideal treatment for dynamic wrinkles.
There is no need to worry about whether or not it will hurt. The procedure is not painful at all. The full effects are seen about 3-7 days after the treatment. The natural-looking smoother wrinkle-free skin lasts for 4-6 months.

The results of anti-wrinkle injections usually last for approximately three to four months and then gradually fade. After that you can book a return appointment for a repeat treatment to keep your new younger look.

The side effects – if properly administered – are extremely rare. Some patients experience a small bruise at the injection site. This normally fades after a few days. 5-10% of patients have headaches for the first 24 hours. These are quite easily managed with paracetamol.
As with all non-surgical treatments, the effects will gradually wear off over time but you can maintain your smoother, plumper skin with top-up treatments. Regular use of anti-wrinkle injections can make results last longer, so top-up injections will be less frequent.
